For as long as I can remember I always told my parents I wanted to be a doctor. I wasn’t even sure why but that was my chosen path. Somewhere in my latter years of pre-med classes I had a realization and feeling that the conventional medical training at the time did not provide for the creativity that was within me. That there were some considerations and elements missing from the traditional way of looking at the body, health and healing. At the time I wasn’t exactly sure what was missing, but I felt it. Later, I realized it was the lack of attention it gave to how our feelings, emotions and spiritual path effect the body- and that the body was not just the physical body, but a body made up of spirit, energy and matter seen and unseen. That we were not just inside of our body, but that our body was inside of us. With this revelation and my intuitive nature to understand emotions and gently relax people with my touch, my journey began. Through my own bodily breakdown due to unresolved, unfelt and suppressed feelings I was thrown full force into understanding the dynamics of health, our mind, our bodies, our spirit and the constant interplay of the three and our inner guides that present themselves to us. In my own recovery and unfolding understandings, I became a client to many gifted healers and masters of the healing arts. Through my own journey in my recovery from having my body shut down until I learned certain lessons, I became a student of well being. I began to study anything and everything in regards to the mind-body connection and spiritual work. I saw the deep benefit of quieting the mind through meditation and tai chi. I began to access parts of myself that lay dormant. I became a student of many masters. And now I offer myself, my learned and given skills to you in your journey of even more well being and deepening of your health.
